OUR PROJECT

New Generation Minerals is developing a low carbon, state-of-the-art nickel mining and processing hub near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

  • Production in 2030 as nickel moves into supply deficit
  • Capacity of 16,000 tonnes of nickel sulphate and 1,625 tonnes of cobalt sulphate per year
  • 500 direct jobs, 2,500 indirect jobs
  • Access to 36.3 million tonnes of ore secured from 4 Kalgoorlie sites
  • Exclusive regional use of low-emission processing technology
  • No tailings dams – waste material returned to mine with full rehabilitation
  • Green power for operations
  • Ethically produced battery grade nickel sulphate
  • Engagement with Australia Federal and State governments
  • ASX IPO 2025 enables rapid feasibility study

INVESTORS

Right location, right technology, right metals.

A large increase in nickel demand is forecast through 2030-2040 to support climate goals. Australian nickel processing capacity is insufficient compared to ore availability. Western Australia has millions of tonnes of stranded nickel laterite ore and lacks local, cost-effective processing options. The New Generation Minerals processing plant will be situated close to infrastructure, with a skilled local workforce, and regional exclusivity for Altilium’s patented, environmentally friendly DNi ProcessTM for low-grade laterite ore. Our investors are gaining access to the enormous growth potential of battery metals in the best mining location in the world, with already-proven processing technology.

PROCESS

Clean, no waste, critical metal processing.

New Generation Minerals has exclusive regional use of Altilium’s DNi Process™, a unique technology which can process the full laterite ore profile (limonite, saprolite, and transition zone) with nitric acid, and which extracts all the metals contained in the feed. Boasting a 99% nitric acid recovery rate, the DNi Process™ minimises environmental impact. The resulting residue, mainly silicates with trace nitrates, can act as a weak fertiliser, enhancing mine rehabilitation efforts.

Zero Waste: No tailings; produces an inert residue that aids site rehabilitation.

Efficient Extraction: Utilises nitric acid, recovering and reusing 99%, to extract all available metals.

Maximised Value: More saleable products, reducing financial risk from single product prices.

Flexible Chemistry: Adaptable to various feed materials.
