NGM is focused on a targeted group of exceptional exploration projects in prime locations. Our strategy is to grow value by proving the existence of gold and/or battery metals at each project, using advanced science and geological methods to identify, define and grow our mineral resources.

We have a highly effective management team and a low-cost structure to execute the business model, allowing us to project manage our drilling campaigns using contract drill rigs, independent assay laboratories and independent geologists to report mineral resources under the JORC Code.

Our strategy is to undertake further exploration drilling and sampling programmes, as well as to conduct geophysical studies. Our near-term strategic priorities include:

  1. Expand Kathleen Valley Southern Discovery gold JORC Inferred resource
  2. Expand and upgrade Lake Yindarlgooda nickel-cobalt JORC Inferred resource
  3. Establish other gold targets in Western Australia 4. Conduct preliminary mapping of the gold-copper site in Argentina

This will be achieved through intensive drilling programmes during 2021, drilling around 15,000 metres of holes. Samples will be recovered from these holes to establish gold and other metal concentration levels and electromagnetic surveys will be conducted down some holes to give a picture of what lies beyond these holes, to define the mineral resource sizes.

We expect to realise value from our portfolio through total or partial project sales and joint ventures and/or, in the case of surface-lying soft rock resources, by extracting those resources ourselves alongside partners.

We operate in accordance with the highest safety, environmental and social standards.

Gold
Gold is a highly strategic and valuable commodity, driven by uncertainty in global financial markets. Australia is the second largest gold producer behind China and ahead of Russia. Western Australia - where our projects are located - produces most of the gold in Australia and is the No.1 ranked investment jurisdiction for mining according to the Fraser Institute.

Battery metal
The world is power-hungry, and the technologies of the future require more copper, nickel, cobalt, lithium, and gold. Having projects located in developed countries such as Australia allows us to ensure our metals will be mined, processed, and transported with the high standards of environmental, social and corporate governance that electronics, energy and automotive customers demand. In particular, NGM has nickel, copper, cobalt and zinc.
