NGM is focused on Western Australia. Our lead project is the development of a state-if-the-art nickel-cobalt processing and mining hub near Kalgoorlie to feed soaring battery metal demand, unlicking millions of tonnes of stranded deposits by providing a process option for nickel laterite ore. Our other projects include a lithium joint venture with Liontown Resources in Kathleen Valley, plus additional opportunities in gold and other metals.
KALGOORLIE NICKEL PROJECT
Nickel-cobalt processing capacity in Western Australia is insufficient. There are millions of tonnes of stranded ore. NGM intends to build a plant, to be operational by 2028, in the heart of the Western Australia nickel region, using low energy and environmental footprint processing technology to supply electric vehicle and battery manufacturers. Ore supply will come from our own nickel-cobalt deposit near Kalgoorlie as well as from other regional deposits we are acquiring.
WHERE WE OPERATE
NGM's projects are in top mining locations in Western Australia. These include nickel-cobalt deposits at and around Lake Yindarlgooda, which form part of our Kalgoorlie Nickel Project; a lithium exploration joint venture with Liontown Resources at our Kathleen Valley tenement with an additional gold opportunity; and two other large sites near Norseman with gold and battery metal potential. In total, NGM has access to around 25 mineral tenements covering more than 380 square kilometers of ground.
